In May 2008 Indian Creek Investments, LLC purchased the space that was the former Ballroom & Theater of the Hotel Sylvania (presently, Arts Condominium). Spector Design Company, the world renowned New York architectural firm, was hired to create plans for a uniquely beautiful special event venue. The plans involved substantial changes in both floor plans and overall design concept. The project was completed in March 2011.
Arts Ballroom is situated at the helm of Philadelphia’s premier entertainment and cultural district. The Avenue of the Arts is the longest, widest, busiest street in the region. It unifies a wide range of different neighborhoods, and bridges both the historic and the new. Moreover, the Avenue is home to over fifty of the City’s most important institutions dedicated to arts and culture, education, and hospitality, while also being known as a place to stay, dine and shop.
